4km of golden sand beaches and crystal clear water

To the west of the Marina entrance, the much photographed Falésia beach with the stunning beauty of its colourful sandstone cliffs stretches into the distance. To the east, in front of the main hotel group, the sands hum with activity.

Historical heritage sites and monuments

The ruins with remnants of historic civilisations can be visited in the Museum Cerro da Vila, just a few steps from the Vilamoura Marina.

Ria Formosa Nature Park

The Natural Park occupies 18.400 ha - and is the most important wetland area on the south of Portugal, being separated from the sea by a cordon of barrier islands and fed in freshwater by small, seasonal water streams.
